Seema Lisa Pandya is a Brooklyn based accomplished sustainability consultant and a multidisciplinary artist that explores the intersection between sustainability, art, and the built-environment with an aim of connecting audiences with experiential awareness of natural cycles. Her work ranges from sustainability consulting, certification coordination, public art, building integrated installations, artful community/ occupant engagement programs, and social 'happenings', painting, photography, bio-inspired forms, kinetic sculptures, and more.

Sustainable sensitivity influences Seema's process. With 10+ years of experience in the environmental building and design industry, she has an exclusive perspective into sustainability-oriented integrated creative solutions. The work is  informed by beauty, function, and deep context examination into how natural systems and art merge with the over all intent of creating a direct artistic experience of natural systems.

Seema's work aesthetically explores the interaction, biological fractal division, and the interchangeable boundaries between positive and negative space.  Many of her sculptures are designed with the audience’s changing perspective in mind, as they must move around pieces to fully grasp the form of the sculpted negative space. Her kinetic sculptures require audience participation to set the sculpted negative space in motion.
