Seema Lisa Pandya is a Brooklyn based artist and accomplished sustainability consultant. In biophillic fashion, her aesthetic is inspired by organic forms and fractal division found in nature. Her work ranges from oil painting, wood carving, light sculptures, and kinetic interactive sculptures to social mixed media 'happenings'. Having spent many years as a sustainability consultant she also pays close attention to environmental themes and issues in her work such as using reclaimed FSC certified non toxic wood and other materials, life cycle issues, and energy conservation. Her larger works aim at connecting audiences and viewers with the awareness of natural cycles.
